I. -π₯ How to Download Debian and Rufus
If you're getting ready to install ggRock, the first step is downloading the Debian Linux installation image and a tool like Rufus to create a bootable USB. Follow the steps below to get started! π

πΉ Step 1: Download the Latest Debian ISO
Go to the official Debian download page:
π https://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/archive/12.11.0/amd64/iso-cd/Look for the section at the bottom.
You should see something like:
This is Debian 12, codenamed bookworm, netinst, for 64-bit PC (amd64)
debian-12.11.0-amd64-netinst.isoClick the
.isofilename to begin the download:Example:
debian-12.11.0-amd64-netinst.iso
(Optional but recommended) You can also download the SHA512SUMS and Signature files to verify the integrity and authenticity of the ISO.
The βnetinstβ image is a minimal installer that fetches most packages from the internet during setup β perfect if you have a good network connection.
πΉ Step 2: Download Rufus (Windows only)
Go to the Rufus official site:
π https://rufus.ie/en/Scroll to the Download section.
Click the latest version under "Download" (e.g., Rufus 4.4 or whichever version is current).
Save the
.exefile to your computer.
Rufus is portable β no installation required. Just double-click the .exe file to launch it.
