Special Configuration for ESEA Client in ggLeap

The ESEA client is a unique case (along with a few others) that requires special handling in ggLeap due to its strict security measures and anti-cheat mechanisms. To launch ESEA properly, it must be authorized by both ggLeap and Windows.

Follow the steps below to configure it correctly:

How to Configure ESEA Client

  1. In the ggLeap Web Admin, go to:
    Settings > Client Configuration > Games/Apps

  2. Search for "ESEA" in the catalog.

  1. Click on the ESEA Client box art to edit its configuration.

  2. In the Executable Path field, enter:
    C:\Windows\explorer.exe

  3. In the Additional Launch Parameters field, enter the full path to the ESEA client executable.
    (Note: This path may vary depending on where ESEA is installed.)

  4. (Optional) Check "Quicklaunch Menu" if you want the app to appear in the clientโ€™s taskbar for easy access.

  5. Select the appropriate PC group (if applicable) where this app should be available.

  6. Click Save.

Be sure to enable the app by clicking the toggle in the upper left of the box art.

  1. Finally, restart all client PCs to apply the changes.
